On the eve of Memorial Day weekend, we have exciting news to share!

We have received a few calls from clients, as everyone has been anxiously awaiting confirmation after Governor Whitmer’s press conference yesterday. We were thankfully able to reach out directly to the Michigan Veterinary Medical Association this afternoon for clarification and confirmation, and are ecstatic to annouce next Friday- May 29th- restrictions on elective veterinary procedures, including our boarding and grooming services are removed!

We are beyond thrilled to have these restrictions offically lifted. We are grateful that Michigan is showing signs of recovery, but for the safety of our staff, clients, and pets alike, to be in compliance with OSHA and the CDC, our building will remain closed at this time with only essential staff allowed inside. We are happy to resume these services and continue offering concierge curbside care for all patients, as well as continue contact-less pick up for refilled prescription medications and foods!

We are proud of our staff for how hard they have been working these past 8 weeks to make curbside service go as smoothly as possible for clients, our patients, and our doctors! We truly miss visiting with you all one on one in the building more than you know, and wish things coul be a bit more of our ‘normal’, but as always- our priority is safety for all.

For those on our grooming waiting list, Lucy will be reaching out to you first thing next week, if she has not already this afternoon. For those who were on our elective surgical procedures list, you may have already received a call, and if not we will be in touch Tuesday!

We are each incredibly thankful for how kind, flexible, and understanding everyone has been since pandemic began in March. You have no idea how much your kindness means to all of us. We are wishing you all the happiest of weekends with beautiful, warm weather and good things on the horizon!

Sincerely,

Lane Animal Hospital
